Bed for Bridge- why do we try?

Im not sure why we are considering buying bridge a nice new shiny white bed. She prefers the floor. What i mean is by that is she refuses to sleep in her new toddler bed. *sigh* ok- no arguments here-  i mean as long as she sleeps and i schedule her regular massages with the beloved family masseuse who cares right?
Bridge..??? Where did you go?
Oh hey there, girlfriend.

Well- you look comfy and you're sleeping...so okay whatevs.

Preschool Open House

Wanted to get this in here before it totally passed us by! Been a busy week so I am a snidge behind. Trying to keep on track.

Anywho- we had an open house and Nora's preschool last Sunday. She got to show us around and of course enjoy a cookie or two. So cute! She loooooves school and her teacher- and we do too!
Jumping around so excited to show us her class.

Nora and Mrs. Ross.

She made a paper mache pumpkin. She loved paper macheing. I did too as a kid- but it will prob stay as a school activity.

Happy Owl Room girl. Who is this big kid I see in the picutre??!?! omg.

Sister wore her owl sweatshirt in honor of her visit to the owl room.

Cookies outside on a beautiful Fall Kansas day!

Swimmer Girl

Nora gets the most improved swimmer girl award. Last summer was painful after a scary incident at swim lessons that turned into a fear of the water most of the season.

This year by the end of swimming pool season- she was jumping off of a diving board (multiple times i may add) and loving it.

To keep up the momentum- we put her in another round of lessons that started today. Here's the leason in pictures:
Well it started with Nora falling asleep on the way there---dont worry her fan remained upright.

This was her face when she realized I didn't bring her goggles.

This was her face after I showed her the previous picture and she realized she was being redic.

This was Nora practicing holding her breath.

And this is her in the water. She went facedown for 3 seconds (a huuuuge improvement) NOT crying- actually laughing/splashing and LOVING it! Hoorah!

Fall Fun!

We pumpkin patched it up this weekend! It's been great having P-chunk here. No captions on this one- just a day in pictures.

First Haircut for Bridge!

It was getting out of control. I cut Nora's too early and said I wasn't going to cut Bridget's until she was 20- but I caved.

Off we went to get a snippet. I overpaid to have them cut about .1 inch off her head- but it does bounce a little bouncier and curl a little curlier- so they probably did something I couldn't have done. No tears and a lollipop at the end equals success.

Pre-cut. This is sometimes how Bridget smiles..so it really is pre-cut smiles.

There is a TV in front of her. When a TV is on my kids zone- so that's a good thing when it comes to haircuts and other times when you just want your kids to zone out and tune out.

An after cut french braid!

Bean got a trimmers too. So proud of her sister.
