Growin up

I looked at bridge today and realized she really is getting less and less baby and more and more big girl. So weird! So sad! So like duh since babies do do that (grow and all) but for realz. Im happy and sad at the same time.

This picture is funny since she busted her lip yesterday (just standing in the kitchen mind you when she fell down...very bridgey like) but she does look older here.

Snoooooow

Two snowstorms in the last week??? It was okay to relax and not go anywhere the first day...maaaaybe the second. But the third and fourth days?? Puhlease. We seized the day(s) though- baked, made a big breakfast, dranks cocoa and made smores. And of course played outside, ate snow and even made snowman this time around since the snow was wet and thick. Wiiiooonter!

Girls Day Out

Spending time with the girls alone can be a hard thing to schedule. Between the day to day life stuff, scheduling family time, and obviously having two kids, taking one out is a special occasion. But well worth it. This past week I had both a Nora day and Bridget day! A super successful week. 

Bridgey and I went to First Watch for brunch and Nora and I did a craft at Michael's and then went to Starbucks for Hot Chocolate. (She requested we go in and sit down. She loves her coffee shop time!) Love me my girlies!!!

Girls brunch out! We had a nice older woman come up and talk to us- I think the site of a mom and baby brunching together is one of those flashback moments for moms with grown kids. That will be me one day- commenting to a young mommy!

Up till tomorrow

Hi my name is Nora and I was up until midnight last night having the greatest time ever! And now I have circles under my eyes but it's no bigs. It's super fun staying up until the wee hours :)

Little Bridge

I fell off the blogisphere lately. Honestly I think my new computer sucks and I try not to be on there so much. *sigh* but i need to get over it! So anyway...

My poor Bridge came down with the stomach flu earlier this week. it was so sad to watch (and tiring for us) so while she was up in the wee hours of monday morning, i painted her nails for the first time. Because that is a normal thing to do at 1:00am. I will add to the list of thing to do between vomiting.

Then the next day she was my little cuddle bug. Of course I dont like to see her sick, but it was nice holding and snuggling with my bridgey boo.

She is in the mend today after a four hour nap!!! Its been a crazy few days- but i do love taking care of my baby who is totally morphing out of babyness.

Oh yeah- and this morning i woke up with no voice and i turned to the sink to clean a dish and bridget decided to marker herself. Yay b.
