When I spell this word- I say in my head- "Wedddddddd-nes-day" Does everyone? I mean- how can anyone spell this word correctly if they don't say this in their head? I probably spell this word every week for some reason (I guess when meal planning?? hmm..I do write this a lot...must think about when else) But anyway- Why isn't it spelled Wensday, like it sounds? What's up with the silent 'd'???
When 'they' were sitting around a table, who was like- aha! Another word we can place a silent letter in.
How can I become "they"???
